We handle our heads very carefully from
planting to digging to curing to cleaning to shipping. Some other
growers will pull up their plants and throw them into a box or
wagon. Then they throw them on a rack to dry. When they ship they
throw them in a bag and then a box. Then they bounce around while
they travel to the buyer.
Do you know how bruised heads and cloves
grow or store? Not very well!
We treat our heads like eggs. In fact, we ship them in egg cartons
to cushion them for their long journey by truck and plane. You'll
see the difference in growing and storing.
