GREEN LIPPED MUSSEL SUPPLEMENTS

Both formulas contain whole New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel. Other products claim they use the "extract", which in some cases means the processor crushes the mussel, shell and all, and then "separates" the shell. Other processors simply extract the lipoid (oil soluble) fraction. While there are some benefits from the fatty acids present in the "lipoid fraction", research has shown the freeze dried "whole" mussel is most beneficial. The whole mussel contains amino acids, polypeptides, long chain fatty acids, glycoproteins, polysaccharides, naturally chelated minerals, fatty acids, chondroitin sulfates and other glycosaminoglycans (GAGS), vitamins and nucleic acids.

GREEN LIPPED MUSSEL 

Each bottle contains 90 gelatin capsules. Each capsule contains 500 mg of Green Lipped Mussel, 100 mg of Alfalfa Leaf and 1 mg of Cinnamon Oil. Suggested use: take 2 capsules with each meal. Once results occur, reduce to 1 capsule with each meal (3 times a day). One bottle will last 15 days.

GREEN LIPPED MUSSEL XTRA

Each bottle contains 90 caplets (long tablets). Each caplet contains 500 mg of Green Lipped Mussel, 300 mg of Glucosamine Sulfate, 200 mg of Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), 100 mg of Dimethylglycine HCl, and 5 mg of Manganese. Suggested use: take 2 caplets with each meal (3 times a day) for 2 to 4 weeks. Reduce to 1 or 2 caplets twice per day with food. One bottle will last 15 days.
