Well we've gotten through our first bottle of Green Lipped Mussels and here is my review. Our 10yr old Samoyed has recently endured one solid month of radiation treatments for cancer. It really took the life out of him.It seemed to advance his age 5 years and arthritis really kicked in after that. He looked old, sad and stiff as a board. It was a struggle to get on his feet. Fast forward 90 green mussel capsules later. Happy, playful, alert and comfortable. He gets up to move around for even the simplest reason. He instigates play and won't stop until you accommodate him. He even runs for the fun of it. I've got my best buddy back. Now that is customer service. It is a gift. Suisun is the name of the dog, and I did notify them that it is coming. My son has a 15 year old Australian shepherd, mean arthritis, increasingly deaf, and with cataracts. I gave him a bottle of mine about four weeks ago, and he says her whole demeanor has changed. She feels better, she hears better, she even seems to be seeing better. Maybe that is a lot of credit to pour onto the St Francis, but perhaps her arthritis pain relief manifests itself in other better health symptoms.

 

My own dog, a huge German wirehair (110 lbs a lot of the time) had cruciate ligament surgery 2 1/2 years ago. The ligament repair has held, but he still has arthritis in the knee.  At first he seemed on the road to full recovery, but about six months after surgery he started going on three legs, so much so that his whole right hind quarter atrophied- which of course made him use that leg even less. I took him to an acupuncturist, I fed him the Australian DGP which uses a lot of shark chondroitin, and then started him on your mussel extract after a NZ friend who was up here hunting with me told me about it. Huck now walks and runs four-legged just about all the time, and muscle tone is developing in the right hind quarter. "We have been giving our dog, Abbey - a 9 year old mix breed New Zealand green-lipped mussels for several months, if not a year now.  It makes a huge difference for her.  Before she would go for a moderate walk, lay down for a while, and then would get up lame on her front legs.  She had a noticeable limp.  We tried acupuncture, Glucosamine and Chondroitin, and some type of injections from her vet.  Nothing helped until we started giving her the Mussels.  Within a week or so, there was a noticeable difference in her.  She no longer limped after moderate walks.  Within a few weeks, she rarely limped, even after long walks.  I have also recommended the Mussels to a woman who walks her dogs at the same park as I do.  She started giving them to her dog who had a terrible limp and could only walk very slowly.  Within a week she noticed a tremendous difference in her dog as well.  She is now able to go for regular walks with little problems.  She walks and runs like a normal dog now." - E.
